Pretty Pink Dresser

I loved doing this dresser.  Two great reasons why…twins!  Our friends Aleesha & Jeremy are having twin girls.  How exciting!  When they asked if I could paint this dresser for them I didn’t hesitate.  The dresser came from Jeremy’s mother…so nice it can stay in the family.  Aleesha wanted pink for her little princesses as the nursery is in a pink theme.

I adore Annie Sloan Antoinette Pink.  It was the exact colour I was looking for, no mixing of colours required.  Once it was all painted, I thought it needed an extra colour as it’s quite a large dresser and it was a lot of pink!  Hence the Old White chandeliers dropping down the front of each drawer.  Perfect for little girls don’t you think?

I’m happy with the way it turned out.  And I couldn’t resist putting these little sock monkeys in the drawers, they were just waiting for Aleesha & Jeremy when they picked up the dresser.  I purchased these and half the proceeds go to the Stedman Community Hospice.  What a great cause.
